Founded and based in Hertfordshire, English Living is a company specialising in fitted furniture for kitchens, bedrooms, and home studies.
The idea for the company came from Gary and Bradley, who are both experienced professionals in the industry, following a conversation about what they would do differently if they had their own fitted furniture business. It soon became apparent they had very similar ideas, as well as a shared passion for personalised service, and the conversation quickly moved on to turning the idea into a reality.
A couple of months, a lot of hard work, cups of tea, and technical bits later, English Living was born.
Bradley – Director
Bradley grew up spending his school holidays in his dad’s joinery workshop helping him build handmade kitchens and furniture, he then went on to get a degree in Physics and is now a customer service professional in the retail industry.
Bradley brings to English Living his knowledge and experience of working for 15 years in the domestic appliance and kitchen design industry.

Form
The initial stage in the process is a consultation between yourself and one of our directors, at your convenience. At English Living, we believe in personalisation so the design stage that follows will be a collaborative process – we want to hear your ideas and requirements for the space, as well as giving you the benefit of our experience and presenting you with options for materials, products, and construction. We will design your kitchen, bedroom, home study with you in mind, keeping you up-to-date on progress and taking your feedback into account. Once you have approved the design, we will move on to the construction stage.
Fit
As experienced negotiators, with direct contact with many factories, let us worry about getting you the highest quality products at the best possible prices. All purchasing decisions will be run past you, and once all of the materials and products have been delivered, we will help you to find the best tradesmen in the industry to fit your new kitchen, bedroom, or home study.
Function
We will contact you after you have settled in to the new space to check it is meeting your requirements – both practically and visually. Should you wish to make any further adjustments, just let us know, and we will work to ensure the space is the perfect fit for you.
